Grading Policy
All students are expected to meet or exceed the standards. A comprehensive assessment system, aligned to city and state standards, will be used on an ongoing basis to measure student progress towards meeting these goals.
Student attendance is a crucial requirement for academic success and is expected to be at 90% or higher throughout the school year.
Student work and learning behaviors will be evaluated using a four-point rubric. Students may have an opportunity to make up missing or late work which may result in a lower grade.
All students will be graded according to the following numerical indicators on formal and informal assessments:
