8th PA / PAC MEETING
Tuesday, April 14, 2026
8:30a.m-IN PERSON
At this meeting parents will vote on whether our school’s parent group will remain a Parent Association (PA)- membership is limited to parents/guardians only or Transition to a Parent-Teacher-Association (PTA)- expanding membership to include teachers and school staff. Please note anyone can attend these meetings, however this vote determines who has the right to share opinions and vote on decisions that affect our students and families. *Voting will take place by annoymous ballot ensuring that every parent can share their perspective confidentially.

SCHOOL CLOSED
School will be closed from Thursday April 2, through Friday, April 10 for Spring Break. Students will return to school on Monday April 13. All students will receive homework packets to complete over the break. Please encourage your child to practice math and literacy skills by completing iready lessons and continue reading on MYON.
NEW YORK STATE TEST DATES
This year 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students will be taking computer based testing.
ELA Test Dates:
Grades 4 & 5 : April 15 & 16
Grade 3 : April 17 & 20
Math Test Dates
Grades 4 & 5: April 28 & 29
Grade 3: April 30 & May 1
*Parents, please make sure that your child goes to sleep early the night before. If your child wears glasses, please send them to school. Enjoy a healthy breakfast at home or in school.
