At P.S. 86K, we make learning exciting by mixing Art, Media, and Technology into every grade (K-5). These creative tools are used throughout the school year based on what fits best with each grade's lessons.

- Dedicated Arts: We are proud to have full-time Dance and Music teachers who work with all students.
- Visual Arts Partnership: Our partnership with Studio in a School brings visual arts into the classroom, allowing students to use drawing, painting, and sculpting to explore what they are learning in subjects like reading and science.

- Creative Projects: Students learn to be creators by working on projects like making commercials or podcasts to share information, or trying out robotics, stop-motion animation, and video creation.
