Healthy Smiles Visits P.S. 86
Healthy Smiles will be visiting our school on January 21st and 22nd 2026. They will be providing gentle dental cleanings and dental examinations to students who returned their signed consent forms.
Breakfast and Winter Craft with the Principal

Parents are invited to register for a special breakfast with the principal. We will enjoy breakfast together while chatting and working on a winter craft. (This activity is limited to 30 people, please see Ms. Cevallos, PC, to register)
NYC KIDS RISE Scholarship / Savings Workshop

We invite parents of kindergartners, and students grades 1-4 who are new to the College Rise program, to join us in learning about the save for college program and how you can activate & view your child’s account.
Nutrition Workshop Series
We invite our parents to attend a series of nutrition workshops that will be held here at P.S. 86K. These workshops will be facilitated by Janette Ramos from Cornell University Nutrition Program. There are 8 nutrition workshops in total. Each workshop is one and a half hours long. You will prepare nutritious and delicious recipes and taste new foods. Those parents who attend at least six sessions will receive a certificate from Cornell University.
The first session will be on Friday, January 23, 2026 , 8:50 am to 10:20 am.
**Doors open promptly at 8:30am.The remaining sessions will take place as follows:
