These community traditions bring together families, neighbors, and local organizations for an evening of joy, music, and holiday spirit — and would love to have you join.
Tree Lightings & Christmas Parade — Monday, December 8th
5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
- Tree Lighting at 5:30 PM • Parade begins at 6:00 PM
- Location: Knickerbocker Plaza → Maria Hernandez Park
- Enjoy live music, hot chocolate, and march with us to the park for a festive community celebration.
Irving Square Park Tree Lighting — Saturday, December 6th
5:00 PM
- Musical performances begin at 5:30 PM • Tree Lighting at 6:00 PM
- Location: Irving Square Park
- Join us for live music, giveaways, hot chocolate, and pictures with Santa Claus!
Both events are family-friendly and feature performances, treats, and activities to help ring in the holiday season with our neighbors across District 37.
